The National eXtension Foundation Leadership Council will meet March 14 at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. The March 14 meeting will announce the addition of the newest member of the council, Rear Admiral H. William Habermeyer, former CEO and President of Progress Energy. Council members serve as visible advocates of the eXtension Foundation and Cooperative Extension by effectively articulating the goals of the fundraising initiative to potential donors and supporters around the country. Their role is to provide guidance and assistance in the identification, cultivation and solicitation of funding prospects and partners.
