Workplace Learning Revolution: How the Internet is Changing the Way We Learn at Work
January 21, 2014. In this virtual conference, Jane Hart (http://c4lpt.co.uk) will present the results of her Top 100 Tools for Learning 2013 compiled from the votes of over 500 learning professionals (from education and workplace learning) worldwide. What does this tell us about the way we now learn? What does it means for professional learning and development, education and training? Dr. Michael Gutter and Elaine Courtney will present Secrets of Smart Car Buying, focusing on issues with financing, making a smart purchase and information on the lending process in this 90-minute presentation on behalf of the Military Families Learning Network’s Personal Finance Group. January 14, 2014, 4-H Program Logic Model for Military Connected Youth presented by Carol Benesh, Charlotte Cross, Shelley MacDermid Wadsworth, Casey Mull, and Tonia Durden. 4-H youth development and family life science programs along within the Cooperative Extension System provide a support network and interpersonal growth opportunities that help youth develop skills to help them become more resilient in the face of change and adaptive in navigating everyday life and the issues of growing up. January 23, 2014, 9 Important Communication Skills for Deescalating the Cycle of Abuse & Violence. A 2-hour webinar providing a brief review of current research on the role of relationship conflict in domestic violence.
