With global population expected to top 9 billion people by 2050, the world faces major challenges providing safe, secure, and healthy food. One implicating factor to the worlds agricultural and production systems is changing weather trends and their impact upon agricultural production.
eXtension’s Livestock and Poultry Environmental Learning Center is offering an online course focused on Animal Agriculture and Climate Change. The course is self –paced and consists of seven lessons requiring approximately 12-15 hours to complete. Details on the course can be found here.
Upon completion of the course students are eligible for 10 Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) continuing education units (CEUs) as well as 8 American Registry of Professional Animal Scientists CEUs.
